                                               English Essay     An essay is a piece of academic writing generally between 2500 and 5000 words long. The word ‘essay’ originally meant a first attempt or practice, which perhaps suggests some kind of opinion exploration. Essay is an intellectual exploration of a topic, involving looking at different arguments and evidence and developing the writer’s opinion. An essay consists of three major parts:    A. The introduction B. The main body C. The conclusion    The introduction and the conclusion, although very important, are often relatively short. The bulk of an essay, both in form and substance, is contained in the main body.
